Word of the Week

September 21, 2009

Across classrooms in our facility, we offer a specified ‘Word of the Week’ to the kids for their contemplation and appropriate use.  The weekly word is noted on the wiki page specifically named for this endeavor along with hyperlinks to merriam webster‘s pronunciation widget and supplied definition.  This past weekend I happened upon an interesting website, http://www.visuwords.com – an online graphical and visual dictionary and thesaurus.  You should check it out – very interesting graphics – works with any word!

By the by, I have added an RSS link for comments and posts for your convenience.
